Abstract

Systemic mycosis can lead to many autoimmune diseases and cancers. The aim of the study was to show the harmful effects of sugar and processed food on the human body and the assessment of knowledge about systemic mycosis among people in different age groups. An original questionnaire was used in work. Out of 110 respondents, as many as 70 people (66.4%) did not know what systemic mycosis was. The respondents did not know how the disease manifests itself (60%) and what factors may favor its development (53.6%). Nutritional awareness in this disease entity was also low. The respondents did not know how to diagnose and treat candidiasis and how to prevent relapse. It is difficult to make an appropriate diagnosis in systemic mycosis due to the varied symptoms. It is important to fight this disease through consistent dietary use. First of all, sugar and products that are highly processed should be excluded or minimized.. (original abstract)
