Projektowanie odpornej logistyki szybkich dostaw w mieście z wykorzystaniem mikrohubów

Abstrakt

Cel: Celem artykułu jest zbadanie, jak wykorzystanie mikrohubów w organizacji przepływów w ramach logistyki ostatniej mili w mieście wpływa na odporność systemu szybkich dostaw produktów spożywczych kupowanych online.

Metodyka: Badanie ma charakter jakościowy. Autorzy, chcąc poznać relacje przyczynowo-skutkowe występujące w logistyce szybkich dostaw w mieście, zdecydowali się na analizę pojedynczego studium przypadku pilotażowego wdrożenia mikrohubów u jednego z detalistów w branży spożywczej, który posiada sieć punktów stacjonarnych oraz sklep online. W pilotażu wybrane sklepy stacjonarne pełniły funkcję mikrohubów konsolidujących dostawy online do konsumentów. Analiza wykorzystuje obserwację uczestniczącą autorów, dane operacyjne, dokumentację projektową oraz wywiady z uczestnikami projektu.

Wyniki: Wyniki wskazują, że stabilność operacyjna w logistyce szybkich dostaw w mieście może być osiągana przede wszystkim poprzez uproszczenie struktury systemu. Model mikrohubowy redukuje zmienność przestrzenną, czasową i informacyjną poprzez ograniczenie promienia działania, standaryzację procesów dostaw oraz zmniejszenie niepewności dzięki technologiom monitorującym. Tak zaprojektowany system charakteryzuje się niższą złożonością decyzyjną oraz większą przewidywalnością realizacji dostaw w warunkach wysokiej zmienności popytu i operacyjnej niepewności.

Implikacje i rekomendacje: Badanie wskazuje, że odporność w logistyce ostatniej mili może być projektowana jako właściwość strukturalna systemu (resilience-by-design), osiągana poprzez redukcję złożoności zamiast nadmiarowości zasobów i/lub zwiększania elastyczności systemu. Niezbędna jest integracja badań nad mikrohubami z podejściem strukturalnym do odporności. Z perspektywy praktycznej wyniki wskazują na potencjał projektowania uproszczonych systemów operacyjnych jako alternatywy dla modeli opartych na intensywnej optymalizacji algorytmicznej.

Oryginalność/wartość: Artykuł jest jednym z pierwszych, który łączy problematykę mikrohubów z teorią odporności logistyki w mieście oraz wprowadza pojęcie odporności strukturalnej w logistyce ostatniej mili. Wskazuje, że mikrohuby mogą redukować złożoność operacyjną, a nie jedynie być narzędziem zwiększania efektywności.
