Abstract
An important problem of the knowledge of designing organizational strategies is the lack of a certain ontological and epistemological order. Many schools, paradigms and concepts of strategic analysis have developed in strategic management. The multiplicity of these approaches means that strategic choices are often flawed. The purpose of this article is to find solutions to this problem. In the article, on an example of the evolution of strategic goals, vision, mission and strategy of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. an attempt was made to indicate the logic of strategic thinking resulting from comparing the successive stages of shaping the company's strategy to subsequent, evolutionarily structured approaches to the strategy. Identifying the logic of building a strategy in KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. is the main goal of the research. The methodological goal is to verify the suitability of the strategic analysis method based on contextual strategy analysis, suited to a specific strategy approach.(original abstract)Downloads
