This article proposes a new look at informal organizations through the prism of the concept of liminality created on the basis of anthropology by Arnold van Gennep and Victor Turner. Based on the analysis of the case study of the All-Poland Women’s Strike and the literature review, the concept of liminal organization was defined. By this term, it defines a particular way of organizing that is intentionally constructed with the intention of inducing and strengthening liminal processes experienced by people who participate in its activities. For this purpose, people co-creating a liminal organization reach for a number of management tools and methods that are to strengthen its transformative character.
