Editorial Standards

All submitted manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening. Manuscripts that are consistent with the journal’s aims and scope and meet formal requirements are sent for double-blind peer review.

The review process is based on the following principles:

  • the identities of authors and reviewers are not disclosed to each other,
  • each manuscript is reviewed by two independent reviewers,
  • reviewers must not have a conflict of interest with the authors,
  • in justified cases, a third review may be requested,
  • reviewers assess the originality, methodology, substantive quality, literature use, clarity, and relevance of the manuscript,
  • the final publication decision is made by the Editorial Committee.

The journal uses OJS to manage submissions and reviews. Reviewers are expected to submit their reviews within three weeks. After acceptance, manuscripts are checked by a statistics editor, technically edited, and proofread by a native English speaker.

Publication Ethics

The journal follows publication ethics standards based on the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The editorial process is designed to protect the integrity of the academic record and to prevent publication malpractice.
