About the Journal
Econometrics is the place of interdisciplinary debate with the participation of economists and statisticians. High level of scientific papers, our confidence and insightful comments from reviewers all contribute to the publication of valuable articles and dissemination of national scientific achievements. The Scientific Council of our journal includes professors affiliated with foreign institutions. The list of scientific reviewers includes eminent scientists from both home and abroad. Among the authors of the publications are both scientists from Polish academia, as well as many scientists from foreign universities.
The journal offers a fast, honest and constructive review, carried out in the double blind review process. Once accepted, an article is evaluated by a native speaker and a statistics editor and the publication process is very fast. It does not take longer than 4 months.
The Econometrics journal belongs to the group of magazines that are constantly highly rated and enjoy a good reputation among authors and reviewers.

This journal has an Open Access policy. Starting from vol. 24, issue No. 3, all articles are published under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license. 1996 – The Informatics and Econometrics journal in the series of Academic Research Papers of Oskar Lange Academy of Economics in Wroclaw, the managing editor – Józef Dziechciarz
1998 – The Informatics and Econometrics journal is changed into Econometrics. Applications of quantitative methods published in the series of Academic Research Papers of Oskar Lange Academy of Economics in Wroclaw, the managing editor – Józef Dziechciarz, the secretary of the journal – Agnieszka Stanimir, published in Polish, English and German.
2009 – Econometrics. Applications of quantitative methods becomes a quarterly. The managing editor – Józef Dziechciarz, the secretary – Agnieszka Stanimir, two issues published in Polish and two issues published in English.
2011 – Ekonometria. Econometrics – a quarterly; the managing editor – Józef Dziechciarz, the secretary – Agnieszka Stanimir, two issues published in Polish, two issues published in English. The Scientific Council is joined by professors affiliated abroad.
2014 – Index Copernicus (IC) 75.77, rated by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MSHE) 9, DOI numbers
2015 – IC 83.81, MSHE 14, the 50th issue is published
2016 – IC 73.92, MSHE 14
