Aims and Scope

Biblioteka Regionalisty is a platform of exchange of knowledge and popularisation of surveys results conducted in the field of modern economy, human geography and spatial planning. Regional Journal publishes articles solely in English, Polish and other languages.

The subject of the journal covers such aspects as: regional policy, spatial development, with a particular focus on problems of local and regional development, knowledge economy, public administration, finances of local government units, safety in space as well as creativity and innovation in economy.

The aim of the “Regional Journal” is to disseminate and promote the achievements of Polish scholarship and to strengthen its impact on the socio-economic environment. The journal serves as a platform for knowledge exchange and the dissemination of research results in the fields of contemporary economics, socio-economic geography, and spatial management.

The published articles contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge, support decision-making processes, and inform public policies at the local and regional levels, thereby strengthening the links between academia and practice.

The thematic scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, regional policy, spatial development – with particular emphasis on local and regional development, knowledge-based economy, public administration, local government finance, security in space, as well as creativity and innovation in the economy.
