Abstract

With deep respect and emotion, we share memories of Professor Zofia Rusnak, who left an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of working with her, but most importantly, in the lives of those closest to her. Professor Rusnak was not only an outstanding scientist but also a person full of warmth, wisdom, and dedication, which made her presence incredibly valuable on many levels.

The memories of Professor Rusnak are divided into three parts to highlight different aspects of her life and work. The first part presents a biographical sketch of her professional career and role in the academic community. The second part offers a look at her private life, family relationships, and the role she played in the lives of her closest ones, as shared by her son. The final part is dedicated to memories from friends and colleagues who had the opportunity to know and work with Professor Rusnak.
