Immigrants in Lower Silesia and Wrocław Based on Selected Administrative Data

Abstract

The aim of this article is to present an overview of the diversity within immigrant communities in Lower Silesia and Wrocław, based on selected administrative data. While these sources do not allow for a precise estimation of the number of immigrants, they offer valuable insights into the composition of the immigrant population – including aspects such as citizenship, nationality, gender, and age. The data were obtained from publicly accessible databases maintained by national government bodies as well as local government institutions operating within their respective competencies. The collected data may be useful for various institutions and nongovernmental organizations dealing with migration issues and integration and intercultural activities.
