MAJOR SOCIO-ECONOMIC DATA ON VOIVODESHIPS

Abstract

The article includes information characterizing living conditions of socjety and state of the economy and the natural environment in the voivodships: Dolnośląskie, Opolskie, Śląskie. Statistical data have been presented against the background of the country and in retrospection for years 2005, 2013 and 2014. Uniform form of data presentation allows to make inter-voivodship comparisons and analyses. The article will prove to be a useful source of information for decision making and monitoring the development trends of the Lower Silesia region.
