Abstract

Ph.D. Witold Ignacy Więsław was born on March 29, 1944 in Warsaw. In 1946, the family moved to Cieplice. He obtained his high school leaving examination in Legnica in 1962, and also graduated from music school. He was considering continuing his studies at the conservatory. Ultimately, he decided to study mathematics. He began his studies in 1962 at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry of the University of Wrocław, majoring in mathematics, theoretical specialization.
