Abstract

The purpose of this article is to propose a method for identifying and measuring the costs of social responsibility of the State Forests in the context of tasks related to non-productive functions of forests. The purpose of the article was achieved through literature studies and a case study on a selected organizational unit of the State Forests. In the introduction, the author indicated some current problems of the State Forests, defined the need for identification and measurement of social responsibility costs incurred in the State Forests and presented the main cost information in the accounting system of this entity. Then she presented fragments of a case study with a measurement proposal on how to identify social responsibility costs in the administrative activities of the State Forests. In conclusion, the author emphasizes the need to identify and measure the costs of social responsibility of the State Forests.(original abstract)
