Abstract
Manufacturing companies are constantly increasing the level of knowledge and innovation, which may result in full automation of processes in line with the concept of industry 4.0. Increasing the degree of process automation may, on the one hand, limit human presence in the processes, and, on the other hand, change the competences of employees. The literature on the subject describes the processes of implementing innovation and transforming enterprises in the context of the changing role of a man. The article aims to present the effects of the implementation of process automation and the changing role of a man in the enterprise, based on the example of an enterprise using the concepts of industry 4.0. The article is of a practical nature and the results of the research are a source of knowledge aimed mainly at process management.(original abstract)Downloads
