Abstract

The publication concerns the issues of management control research in local government units. It is a continuation of the research and observations conducted by the author in the field of methodological problems of the survey technique in risk management research. In order to increase operational efficiency, public sector management requires significant improvements, therefore the research conducted in this area, conclusions drawn and solutions designed should lead to reasonably certain results. In this publication, the author discusses the interview as a research tool, at the same time presenting its cognitive usefulness on the example of local government units.(original abstract)
