Abstract

The aim of the article is to measure the level of end-user computing satisfaction (EUCS), i.e. young employees using financial and accounting programs. The study was conducted electronically twice, 8 months apart, obtaining 327 responses. The results indicate that the highest rated area is the timeliness of information systems (IS), followed by the accuracy of data, in contrast to the previously published results of the EUCS research. The lowest rated area of IS was the ease of use, which is consistent with other studies. The overall level of satisfaction is at the level of 3.81, which is a relatively high result in comparison with the previous studies measuring EUCS. The results show the need to improve the process of AI development and implementation and to change the way of educating future financiers. Our contribution is based on aiming at financial and accounting systems and at young employees entering the Polish labor market.(original abstract)
