Construction Sector Against Selected Crisis Phenomena of the 21st Century

Abstract

The article discusses the impact of selected crisis phenomena, observed in the 21st century, on the Polish construction sector with a special emphasis on road construction. Empirical research of a non-reactive and survey nature was carried out. The results made it possible to identify how the Polish strategic sector reacted to the selected crisis phenomena. The results also illustrate the expectations of sector experts regarding the development of the construction industry, including in order to counteract climate change. The analysis made it possible to formulate what, urgent to address, challenges have emerged for the public administration vis-à-vis the construction sector.
